Innovation in Action
Northumberland CFDC’s Collaborative Economic Development Projects
Gary Michor, CEO of Screaming Power, discusses the importance of the support from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) and Northumberland’s Collaborative Economic Development Projects (CEDP). It’s imperative for small business to have a Government that makes strategic investments in innovation across Eastern Ontario.
The funding Screaming Power has received has enabled the company to complete two key projects leveraging both mobile and cloud technology. One project used Screaming Power’s “Scream Utility” technology to create a mobile customer engagement and electricity / water billing solution for Lakefront Utilities in Eastern Ontario. The other project used Screaming Power’s “Scream Enterprise” technology to create a strategic mobile energy information and Greenhouse Gas solution to assist in managing the operating costs for the City of Toronto’s portfolio of buildings. These projects prove that Screaming Power’s solutions can meet the needs of both the enterprise and the Utility industry.
Screaming Power will continue to focus its innovative solution set on meeting the needs of today’s energy industry. With a focus on putting real-time information into users hands through automated information management, simplified presentment, and data delivery, our solutions support conservation, education and socialization of energy data.
